What's The Role:

We're looking for a trade-qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our high-performing team at our Acacia Ridge workshop in Brisbane.

n

Working Monday to Friday, you'll maintain a contemporary fleet using state-of-the-art equipment and the latest diagnostic technology. We offer two permanent shifts to suit your lifestyle:

- Morning Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
n
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (shift allowance applies)
n

What You'll Do:

n

Reliability is the cornerstone in transport, you will be an essential part ensuring our fleet is maintained tothe highest level:

n

n
- Vehicle maintenance and repair – repairing, replacing and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids and trailers)
n
- Perform major repairs including midlife's and brake/bearing overhauls and servicing
n
- Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture
n
- Accurately completing maintenance and repair documentation.
n

What You'll Bring:

n

n
- Mechanical Trade qualification
n
- Proven competence in repairs and overhauls
n
- Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued
n
- Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW
n
- Basic computer skills
n
- Clear and concise communication skills
n
- Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
n
