We're looking for a Fleet Allocator / Scheduler / Transport Coordinator to join a busy operations team based on the north side of Brisbane. This is a hands‐on coordination role where you'll be responsible for keeping deliveries on track, working closely with drivers and contractors, and making sure customers receive their deliveries when they're expected.

- 5:00am – 2:00pm + every second Saturday morning (When you work the Saturday you get a day off during the week)

About the role

n

You'll play an important role in coordinating the daily movement of the fleet and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Coordinating and scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements
n
- Allocating work to drivers and contractors
n




- Monitoring fleet movements and making adjustments throughout the day
n
- Keeping an eye on stock availability and upcoming delivery requirements
n
- Managing unexpected issues and finding practical solutions quickly
n
- Communicating with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep everyone informed
n
- Ensuring operations are carried out safely and in line with company procedures
n
- Maintaining accurate information across internal systems
n

What are we looking for?

n

We're looking for someone who is organised, calm under pressure and confident making decisions in a busy operational environment.

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- Previous experience in transport coordination, fleet allocation, scheduling or logistics
n
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities at once
n
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships with drivers, contractors and customers
n
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
n
- Experience using an ERP system such as SAP would be advantageous
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
n

n

Experience within transport, heavy industry, construction, cement or concrete would be beneficial but isn't essential.
