BiomeBank is seeking a Graduate Scientist to join its Research & Development team in Adelaide. This is an exciting opportunity to build your technical capability while contributing to evidence-based research, product development and innovation within the biotechnology industry. Working alongside experienced scientists, you'll gain practical exposure to experimental work, laboratory techniques, data analysis and quality processes in a collaborative R&D; environment. About the Role. With guidance and supervision from the R&D; team, you will:

- Assist with the preparation and execution of experimental plans
n
- Conduct routine laboratory and experimental activities
n
- Collect and analyse data and contribute to draft reports
n
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and electronic records
n
- Follow approved laboratory methods, protocols and procedures
n
- Develop your knowledge of scientific methods, laboratory techniques and data analysis
n
- Assist with laboratory equipment, housekeeping and compliance activities
n
- Participate in team meetings and cross‐functional projects
n
- Work in accordance with quality, safety, ethical and regulatory requirements.

About You
n
This role would suit someone who has recently completed or is nearing completion of a relevant science degree and is eager to begin their career in a hands‐on laboratory and R&D; environment.

You'll bring:
n
n
- A Bachelor's degree, or near completion, in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related field
n
- Practical laboratory experience gained through university, placement, internship or early‐career employment
n
- A basic understanding of microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology or a related scientific discipline
n
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for accurate record keeping
n
- Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn
n
- The ability to follow established procedures and work effectively under supervision
n
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
