Job Description

The SEQ Group is looking for a high-impact Business Development Manager to drive growth across our three specialized divisions: SEQ Cranes, SEQ Turning & Tooling, and SEQ Hydraulics. As our BDM, you will be the bridge between our specialized engineering capabilities and the fleet managers, procurement teams, and operations directors who rely on us.

Key responsibilities

Grow market share across crane services, precision machining, and hydraulic hose & fittings division

n

Visit sites, understand client pain points, and present technical solutions that reduce downtime

n

Cultivate deep, long-term partnerships with clients in the transport, construction, and mining sectors

n

Identify new revenue streams and convert complex technical requirements into signed contracts

n

About you

n

Proven background in sales within the manufacturing or heavy engineering sector

n





Understanding of the transport and logistics industry language and knowledge of downtime costs

n

Ability to confidently discuss engineering requirements, hydraulic systems, or fabrication projects with both office-based managers and workshop teams

n

Driven to identify new revenue streams and convert complex technical requirements into signed contracts
