Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Speech Pathologist looking to make a difference across a diverse caseload? We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our growing allied health team, support people of all ages to live with independence, dignity, and purpose.

Our Team work flexibly across multiple areas of Newcastle Anglican Allied Health services including:
n
n
- Schools – helping children and teenagers succeed in the classroom.
n
- Paediatrics – assisting children to develop speech, language, literacy, fluency and social communication skills.
n
- NDIS – providing person-centred supports in their chosen natural environment.
n
- Prospect to specialise in a particular area of interest.
n
n

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
n
n
- Degree qualification(s) in Speech Pathology
n
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
n
- Proven experience providing Speech therapy for paediatrics in a range of settings, adults within NDIS or in an Aged Care environment.
n
- Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and managing clients with complex needs
n
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development, Evidenced Based Practice, and measuring clinical outcomes
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team and other service providers
n
- Knowledge of confidentiality principles and WHS responsibilities.
n
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
n
- NSW Driver's Licence
n
