We are looking for an Associate Legal Counsel to support our growing organisation by providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of matters. Working closely with our General Counsel, you will play a key role in contract negotiations, corporate governance, compliance, dispute resolution, and legal operations while helping the business move forward with confidence.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, supplier agreements, contractor agreements and NDAs
n
- Partner with Sales, Procurement, Delivery and Operations teams to provide practical legal advice and support commercial outcomes
n




- Support corporate governance, compliance initiatives, policies and business-wide legal matters
n
- Assist with legal risk management, dispute resolution and engagement with external legal advisers
n
- Help maintain legal templates, playbooks, processes and knowledge resources to improve efficiency and scalability
n
- Provide guidance on privacy, data protection, technology procurement and regulatory obligations
n
- Work closely with the General Counsel on strategic business initiatives and legal projects
n
- Admission to practise law in Australia
n
- Minimum 2+ years post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate or technology-focused legal practice
n
- Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
n
- Strong ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes
n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- High integrity, sound judgement and a collaborative working style
n

Highly desirable:

- Previous in-house legal experience
n
- Exposure to technology, cybersecurity, managed services, SaaS or reseller environments
n




- Experience supporting privacy, data protection or compliance initiatives
n
- Exposure to corporate governance, legal operations or dispute resolution matters
n
