Job Description

- Greet and interview potential donors to understand eligibility and suitability to donate
n
- Create a positive donor experience
n
- Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
n
- Set up machines and collection equipment
n
- Safely insert and remove needles to collect whole blood, plasma and platelets
n
- Monitor donors post-donation
n
- Assist donors with rebooking their next donation
n
- Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets
n

Requirements

n

n
- Proven customer-facing experience
n
- Passion for delivering an exceptional donor experience
n
- Comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials
n
- Ability to occasionally lift between 9–22.7 kg
n
- Ability to frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products
n
- Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
n
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve collection targets
n
- No previous blood collection experience required; full training provided
n
