About This Role
n
This is a site based Environmental Officer position supporting the delivery of a major road and civil infrastructure project. You will work closely with the project management and construction teams, overseeing environmental compliance, contractor performance, environmental documentation and site-based environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle.

- Monitor environmental performance and compliance across construction activities.
n
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
n
- Provide environmental advice to Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.
n
- Liaise with regulators, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
n
- Prepare environmental reporting and compliance documentation.
n
- Support environmental training, inductions and toolbox talks
n
n
Requirements
n
n
- 5+ years' environmental experience within civil infrastructure, road construction or major projects.
n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
n
- Robust understanding of environmental legislation, approvals and construction environmental management.
n
- Experience working directly with construction contractors and site delivery teams.
n
- Strong environmental auditing, compliance and reporting experience.
n
- TfNSW road project experience would be highly regarded.
n
- Current Australian driver's licence
n
