Financial Accountant - North Sydney - $110-130K + Super

Working closely with the CFO, this role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, corporate entities, investments, compliance, and treasury activities within a highly professional environment. This position is ideally suited to a Financial Accountant coming directly from a Family Office, Wealth Management, Private Equity, Investment Management, or broader Financial Services environment who enjoys a hands-on role and wants to be part of a team with genuine work-life balance.

Your new role

n

- Monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Managing statutory compliance including BAS, payroll tax and other lodgements
n
- End-to-end payroll oversight, including STP, PAYG and superannuation
n
- Cash flow management and treasury support
n
- Accounts payable and receivable oversight
n
- Maintaining accurate general ledger records
n
- Supporting entity administration and corporate governance requirements

- Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders
n
- Assisting with investment accounting and reporting activities
n
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion-3+ years' experience within a Family Office or Financial Services organisation
n
- Strong financial accounting and compliance experience
n
- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
n
- Advanced Excel capability
n
- A proactive, hands-on approach and strong sense of ownership
