The Opportunity

We're looking for an Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Inverell on a permanent basis. In this role you'll support our Managers and Partners by preparing compliance, tax and accounting work for a diverse range of clients across companies, partnerships, trusts and individual businesses. It's a genuine opportunity to build your technical skills in a close-knit regional team, backed by the resources and career pathways of a national firm.

Your role, your contribution!

- Prepare tax returns, financial statements, reconciliations and business advice for companies, partnerships, trusts and individual clients
- Complete work to a high technical standard, meeting deadlines and budget expectations on every job
- Assist with general bookkeeping duties as required
- Liaise directly with the ATO and other government bodies on client matters
- Maintain accurate, compliant work papers and client files in line with Findex Group standards
- Keep your technical knowledge current to ensure ongoing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

What you will bring to the role:

- A relevant degree qualification
- Commenced or working towards CA, CPA or equivalent
- Solid experience in an accounting role, ideally within public practice
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and government bodies
- A positive,



proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
