Administration Officer – Healthy Kindy Kids, will provide administrative support to enable the effective delivery of allied health services across the Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service region.
About The Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values .
Your contribution will include
- Provide responsive and professional administrative support to parents and carers, families, Early Childhood Educators, Queensland Health staff, and other relevant program stakeholders.
- Deliver a high‑quality and courteous telephony service, managing incoming and outgoing calls in accordance with service standards.
- Effectively prioritise workload, manage competing demands, and perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
- Manage, distribute, and accurately process incoming and outgoing correspondence in a timely manner.
- Perform meeting secretariat functions including preparation of meeting packs (agenda, reports etc), minute taking, organising and scheduling meetings, sourcing and organising venues, equipment and catering as required.
- Organise and coordinate administrative activities to support program operations, including coordination and workflow support for screening clinics delivered in participating kindergartens, organising travel itineraries, coordinating education and planning days, coordinating recruitment processes and managing an effective records management system/database.
- Liaise effectively with the Healthy Kindy Kids team, Queensland Health representatives, Early Childhood Educators, and Kindergarten Directors regarding resources, marketing activities, and communication requirements.
- Maintain data integrity by reviewing, updating,
and validating information within patient information and billing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant policies and procedures
