In this role, you'll:
Join Transport for NSW as an Associate Manager Project Assurance and play a key role in improving the quality, consistency and success of major projects and programs.
Working within Portfolio Delivery and Enablement, you'll coordinate and deliver assurance reviews, including gateway reviews, health checks and deep dives, helping identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions across a diverse delivery portfolio.
You'll work closely with project teams, subject matter experts and independent assurance bodies to strengthen project outcomes and support best-practice project governance.

About you
You're an experienced project assurance, governance, audit or project management skilled who can analyse complex information and translate it into clear, practical recommendations.
You are highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to build productive relationships while maintaining objectivity and professional independence.
You enjoy working with stakeholders at all levels and have the confidence to present insights and recommendations to senior audiences.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Project assurance,
governance or audit frameworks
- Project and program management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI, AIPM or similar)
- Risk identification, assessment and mitigation
- Assurance reviews, Gateway Reviews and Health Checks
- Dashboard, reporting and assurance register management
- Data analysis and evidence-based assessment
- Project controls, including cost, schedule and risk review
- Stakeholder engagement and assurance coordination
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools
- Knowledge of NSW Government Gateway Assurance frameworks is highly regarded
