Leading financial services company requires Senior Legal Counsel to join expanding legal team.

This is a newly created role to work with another senior counsel in a highly collaborative team covering a range of banking & finance deals including project finance, asset finance, mining and commodities finance, derivatives and structured finance. Our client is happy to consider candidates with a range of institutional banking experience.

You will work closely as a business partner and must be able to transact with limited supervision and build excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. You will therefore have a minimum of 10 years’ PQE and have experience practicing as a banking lawyer at a top-tier or mid-tier law firm, or reputable banking institution in Australia.

This position is based in Sydney's CBD and is offered on a full-time hybrid working basis with 3 days in the office.
