The Behaviour Support Practitioner is responsible for delivering high-quality behaviour support services to participants with complex support needs. This role involves conducting assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, providing training and coaching to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and funding body requirements.

Due to client preferences and demands at this time, male applicants will be favoured, however female applicants will be contacted for future opportunities.

Role Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or related field
- Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner with registration level Proficient or higher
- Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's requirements around Restrictive Practices
- Ability to form relationships and work with individuals, families, carers, staff and others
- Strong independent drive

Time Commitments:

- Minimum:



16-22 billable hours per week x 46 weeks per year

Contractor Requirements (by commencement date):

- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Workers Screening
- Working With Children's Check or equivalent by state
- ABN or ACN
- Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance
- Drivers license, car, laptop, phone, home office materials
