Business Intelligence Administrator

Auto-IT provides Dealer Management System (DMS) software to automotive, agricultural, and trucking dealerships across ANZ and APAC, and our Dealer Spectrum team is at the heart of it, helping clients get real value from their business intelligence dashboards.

We're looking for a Business Intelligence Administrator to join Dealer Spectrum and support our clients through their BI dashboard rollouts and ongoing use. You'll work closely with the Director, Dealer Spectrum and our clients directly - handling enquiries, documenting resolutions, and making sure every rollout is tested, tracked, and delivered to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity for someone who's numerate, detail-oriented, and enjoys owning a problem from first enquiry through to resolution, with genuine scope to grow into more senior responsibilities as you build your BI and consulting experience.

What you'll be doing

- Handling client enquiries professionally, and logging enquiries and resolutions clearly
- Following project plans and proactively communicating progress — to management and clients — when things shift
- Testing products to make sure client system needs are consistently met
- Liaising with third parties on BI dashboard rollouts and upgrades




- Documenting Dealer Spectrum's processes clearly for the team and for clients
- Building strong working relationships across the Dealer Spectrum team, our clients, and other Auto-IT stakeholders

What you'll bring

- Strong SQL knowledge and high/intermediate Excel skills, with solid numeracy
- A relevant tertiary qualification in IT (e.g. a Bachelor's in Software Engineering or Computer Science)
- Previous business intelligence experience (preferred, not essential)
- Yellowfin BI experience highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong documentation habits
- A fast learner with sharp attention to detail and genuine curiosity
- The ability to work autonomously, prioritise under pressure, and follow defined processes
- A collaborative mindset, and the flexibility to travel when needed
