The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to join us on an independent contractor basis. In this role, you will be dedicated to nurturing skilled, compassionate professionals through innovative teaching and industry-aligned training. You will ensure a dynamic and supportive learning environment, fostering critical thinking and hands-on skill acquisition for your peers.

As an independent contractor you will be able to drive your own schedule, sub-contract the work if necessary, and be accountability for the learning outcomes.

Your clinical teaching focus will include:

Ear Health:



Delivering training in Ear Wax Removal (Micro-suction) and Ear Irrigation, with a willingness to continuously learn and expand your expertise in this field.

Wound Closure: Teaching advanced techniques including running, vertical, and horizontal mattress sutures, staples, gluing, local anaesthesia, and biopsy procedures.

What You Bring To be successful in this role, you will have a strong foundation in Primary Healthcare and a passion for adult education.

- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Nursing.
- Must hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122).
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience as a Registered Nurse, specifically within Primary Healthcare.
- Clinical Proficiency: Proven experience and familiarity with the Ear Health and Wound Closure techniques mentioned above.
- Mobility: Based in either Melbourne or Sydney, with the ability and willingness to travel to deliver training.
