About the opportunity The role of the Credit Officer is to ensure that all outstanding accounts, reconciliations, adjustments and refunds are processed/collected in a timely and effective manner. In this role you will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and a solid customer service/support focus. You will have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to streamlining processes while reporting into the Revenue & Collections Manager.

- Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.
- Follow up outstanding invoices keeping a record to substantiation of Debt
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders relating to Debtor balances.
- Determine payment arrangements with debtor
- Investigate and reverse payments that are rejected or dishonored
- Report/Flag Doubtful Debtors and provide relevant supporting documents to support recommendation




- Assistance in notifying debtors when on over on under payment has been made
- Raising associated reporting records
- Receipting of revenue when required

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Skills of Microsoft Excel, including VLookup and reporting to work independently
- Experience working in a fast-paced complex environment
- Clear ability to escalate decisively, clearly and with confidence
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent phone manners
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with Aged Care/Home Care collection highly desirable
- High data entry skills/speed

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check
