Jacaranda Finance is entering an exciting new phase of growth, we are looking for a Commercial Data & Insights Lead. This is an exciting new role to help us make better commercial decisions, faster.

This is a hands-on builder role with real impact.

Reporting to our CTO and working closely with Growth, Lending and Finance, you'll build the data, measurement, automation and intelligence that powers commercial decision-making across Jacaranda.

We're not looking for someone to simply produce dashboards or wait for reporting requests. We're looking for someone who gets close to the commercial problem, understands what decision needs to be made and builds the trusted information needed to make it.

Success is simple: the right answer reaches the right people before the decision is made.

The opportunity

You'll build and continuously improve the commercial data ecosystem that connects activity across the full customer journey, from acquisition and application through to approval, signing and funded loans.

You'll turn fragmented data into trusted commercial intelligence, automate work that shouldn't be manual and create systems that help our teams act with greater speed and confidence.

You'll be responsible for

- Building trusted commercial datasets across Growth, Lending and Finance.
- Creating a consistent view of performance across the full commercial pipeline.
- Connecting Growth activity and channel performance to funded outgoings.
- Building automated commercial intelligence that surfaces important opportunities and risks.
- Owning attribution, UTM governance, campaign tracking and commercial measurement standards.
- Building automated reporting, workflows, operational tools and alerts.
- Creating continuous optimisation loops that connect action, results and learning.
- Applying AI practically across commercial operations and decision support.
- Preparing audiences,



segmentation and deployment-ready datasets when needed.
- Reducing manual reporting, duplicated analysis and conflicting metrics.
- Getting close enough to the commercial rhythm to anticipate questions before they become requests.

What you'll bring

- Strong commercial and operational thinking.
- Hands-on experience building data, measurement and reporting solutions.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BI platforms and modern data tools.
- A strong understanding of data modelling, joins, definitions, quality and reporting logic.
- Experience with attribution, tracking and commercial measurement.
- Experience connecting marketing, operational and financial data.
- Experience building automated workflows or operational systems.
- The judgement to know when to ship a fast answer and when to build something durable.
- Comfort working with pace, ambiguity and changing commercial priorities.
- A bias towards action, iteration and measurable impact.

Experience in consumer lending, financial services, analytics engineering, AI/LLMs, workflow automation or modern data architecture would be highly valued.

Before you apply We're a predominantly in-office business because we believe collaboration, problem-solving and innovation happen best when we work side by side.

During probation, you'll work from our Milton office five days per week. Following successful completion of probation, you'll have the flexibility to work from home one day per week.
