CASUAL COMMERCIAL CLEANER – FOOD STORES & GENERAL COMMERCIAL CLEANING

Perth Metropolitan Area | Night Shifts | $30 per hour

Grade X Commercial Solutions Pty Ltd is a growing commercial cleaning company providing qualified cleaning services to food stores, restaurants, fast-food outlets and other commercial businesses across the Perth metropolitan area.

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team on a casual basis.

This is a hands-on role involving general commercial cleaning as well as specialised cleaning duties, including canopy and exhaust cleaning.

About the Role

Most shifts will be approximately 6–8 hours, with work generally scheduled between:

7:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Actual start and finish times may vary depending on the site and client requirements.

Work will be at various food stores and commercial sites across the Perth metropolitan area, so applicants must be comfortable travelling to different locations.

Key Responsibilities

General Commercial & Food-Store Cleaning

- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning and maintaining customer and staff toilets
- Cleaning kitchens, lunchrooms and staff areas
- Cleaning food preparation and service areas
- Wiping and sanitising benches, tables and other surfaces
- Cleaning high-touch areas including doors, handles and handrails
- Emptying bins and managing general waste
- Cleaning rubbish and waste disposal areas
- Removing cobwebs and completing detailed spot cleaning
- Cleaning under furniture, equipment and fixtures
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and presentation
- Degreasing canopy surfaces, filters and surrounding areas
- Cleaning canopy filters and removable components
- Cleaning grease and carbon build-up from accessible surfaces
- Cleaning duct and exhaust areas where required and within the scope of the job
- Cleaning around kitchen exhaust systems and associated equipment
- Using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely




- Working safely around commercial kitchen equipment
- Following site-specific procedures for canopy and exhaust cleaning
- Ensuring the work area is cleaned and left safe after completion

Training and guidance will be provided to suitable applicants. Equipment & Safety The role may involve using commercial cleaning equipment such as:

- Vacuum cleaners
- Scrubber-dryers
- Pressure washers
- Commercial cleaning machines
- Degreasing and cleaning equipment

All equipment and chemicals must be used safely and in accordance with company procedures and site requirements. What We Are Looking For The successful applicant will be:

- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and physically fit
- Comfortable performing manual cleaning duties
- Available for night shifts
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly attentive to detail
- Able to work efficiently within set timeframes
- Comfortable working in food-store and commercial environments
- Flexible to travel to different Perth metro locations
- Professional and respectful when dealing with clients and team members
- Able to follow instructions, safety requirements and site procedures

Previous commercial cleaning, food-store, kitchen or canopy cleaning experience is preferred, but training may be provided to the right applicant.

Police Clearance

A* valid police clearance certificate is required*, or applicants must be willing to obtain one.

Pay & Employment Details

$30.00 per hour
