We're seeking an enthusiastic HSE Coordinator to support Safety, Health and Environmental programs across our national Bituminous Products business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an operational background in a high-risk industry who has gained exposure to health and safety systems and is looking to further develop their career in safety.

Based in either Pinkenba (Brisbane) or Revesby (Sydney), you'll work closely with operational leaders across multiple sites, helping drive safety initiatives, compliance, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Technical Manager, you will play a key role in supporting safety, health and environmental compliance, systems,



reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple operational sites nationally.

Working closely with site leaders and operational teams, you'll help embed safety processes, monitor compliance requirements, coordinate training activities and contribute to a positive safety culture across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Support implementation of SHE operational plans across multiple sites.
- Assist with compliance to legislative and IXOM safety requirements.
- Support site leaders with safety systems, reporting and compliance activities.
- Coordinate licences, permits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate safety inductions, training and contractor onboarding.
- Assist with risk assessments, risk registers and procedure reviews.
- Support internal and external audits and corrective actions.
- Track and report on HSE performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams to promote safe work practices.

About You

You may currently be working in manufacturing, construction, mining, transport, logistics, heavy industry, or another safety-critical workplace and have gained exposure to health and safety systems through your operational role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a practical approach to safety, and is keen to further develop their career in HSE.

To be successful, you'll have:

- Operational experience within manufacturing, construction, mining, transport, logistics, heavy industry,



or similar high-risk industries.
- Exposure to safety management systems and an understanding of how they are implemented, maintained, audited and continuously improved.
- The ability to effectively engage with frontline employees, supervisors and site managers and provide practical safety support.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage priorities with limited day-to-day supervision.
- A current and valid driver's licence due to the travel requirements of the role.
- Qualifications or further study in Work Health & Safety (desirable).
- Exposure to ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001 standards (desirable).
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; SAP and Velocity experience will be highly regarded.
