We’re looking for an experienced Web Content Designer to join a large digital environment, helping shape clear, accessible and customer-focused online content.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to improve digital experiences, translating complex business requirements into simple, usable web content and solutions.

- Brisbane CBD location, WFH 2 days per week
- Contract to March 2027 with possible extension
- Paying up to $71 per hour

What you’ll be doing

- Write, edit and publish high-quality web content in line with established style, usability and accessibility standards.
- Design customer-centric content based on user needs, evidence and business objectives.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective digital content solutions.
- Champion content design, editorial standards, accessibility and user experience best practice.
- Help optimise website content structures and information architecture.
- Use Google Analytics 4 and other data sources to identify opportunities and improve customer outcomes.
- Monitor, analyse and report on website usage and performance.
- Translate business requirements into practical, user-centred web solutions.
- Collaborate with designers, delivery teams and other digital specialists throughout the service design lifecycle.
- Influence and guide stakeholders on content design and digital best practice.

What we’re looking for You’ll ideally bring:





- Strong experience writing, editing and publishing web content.
- Experience using Squiz or a similar enterprise CMS.
- Demonstrated experience in content design and customer-centred digital experiences.
- Strong knowledge of web accessibility, usability and content standards.
- Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and user requirements.
- Ability to recommend content and digital solutions based on evidence and best practice.
- Experience using Google Analytics 4 or similar web analytics tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience presenting recommendations and insights to both senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Ability to confidently challenge requirements and advocate for the needs of users.
- Solid collaboration skills and the ability to coach or guide others in content best practice.
