Livit Disability Support is seeking applications for a permanent full-time Team Leader to join our Hills & Strathalbyn regional leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead people, influence service quality and contribute to positive outcomes for clients, while working alongside a collaborative and supportive leadership team. The position is classified at SCHADS Award Level 3 and will commence upon appointment.

- Monday to Friday working arrangement

- Salary range $80,000 - $85,800 per annum plus superannuation*
- Commencement upon appointment
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management highly regarded

About the Opportunity
As a Team Leader, you'll lead and support teams delivering safe, high-quality and person-centred disability services across the Hills & Strathalbyn region.
Reporting to the Manager Client Services, you will be responsible for supporting and developing employees, coordinating services, responding to operational challenges and helping ensure positive outcomes for both clients and employees.
The Team Leader acts as a key escalation point for service matters and plays an significant role in fostering a positive, capable and values-driven culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing teams of Support Workers.
- Supporting quality service delivery and positive client outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders.
- Monitoring service quality, compliance and risk management activities.
- Supporting incident management and continuous improvement processes.
- Contributing to workforce capability and positive team culture.
- Working collaboratively with other Team Leaders and organisational leaders to achieve shared outcomes.
While the successful candidate will ultimately be allocated responsibility for a specific service portfolio, the final service allocation will be determined through the recruitment process. Allocation will take into consideration organisational requirements, business priorities, individual capability, experience and areas of strength.
Importantly, our regional Team Leaders work collaboratively and regularly support one another across a range of service types and locations. As the NDIS environment continues to evolve, we are seeking a leader who is adaptable, solutions-focused and comfortable working across diverse service environments when required.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants will ideally hold a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) and/or have demonstrated leadership and management experience.
The Team Leader Position Description recognises either a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or relevant leadership and management experience as suitable for the role.
Don't Have a Cert IV? That's Okay.
While a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) is highly regarded, we recognise that leadership capability can be developed through a range of experiences.
Applicants who do not currently hold the qualification are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant may be required to obtain the qualification following appointment in accordance with employment requirements with a skills assessment undertaken to determine this.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must be able to meet the role's mandatory requirements, including:
- NDIS Worker Check;
- Working with Children Check;
- Current Australian Driver's Licence;
- First Aid and CPR;
- Safe Environments for Children and Young People;
- Medication competency;
- Manual Handling competency; and
- the ability to maintain all mandatory role requirements.
