Hibbs is looking for an experienced RTO Manager to lead our RTO operations, compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on WHS and safety training. This role suits a capable VET professional who can balance compliance, training quality, client service and commercial outcomes.

1. About the role

In this role, you will manage Hibbs’ RTO operations, including compliance, governance, student administration, WHS and safety training delivery, records, reporting, audit readiness and continuous improvement.

You will work with staff, trainers, assessors, clients and regulators to keep the RTO compliant, commercially sustainable and aligned with ASQA expectations, RTO Standards and Hibbs’ quality, safety and risk systems.

1. Key responsibilities

- Lead RTO operations, compliance, performance and continuous improvement.

- Maintain RTO governance materials, procedures, registers and compliance evidence.

- Oversee WHS and safety training delivery, assessment systems, student administration, certification and records.

- Coordinate audits, validation, self-assurance reviews, corrective actions and audit readiness.

- Monitor RTO legislation, ASQA guidance, VET requirements and training package updates.

- Report on compliance performance, student outcomes, audit findings and improvement actions.

- Support RTO promotion, client engagement and course delivery improvement.

- Advise clients on accredited and non-accredited WHS and safety training options.

- Provide practical guidance to staff, trainers,



assessors and stakeholders on RTO requirements and good practice.

1. About You

- Experience managing or coordinating RTO operations, compliance and WHS and safety training delivery.

- Solid knowledge of the Australian VET sector, RTO Standards, ASQA expectations and training package requirements.

- Experience maintaining governance systems, compliance evidence and audit-ready records.

- Ability to coordinate audits, validation, corrective actions and self-assurance processes.

- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, reporting and influencing skills.

- Sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to balance compliance, quality, client service and commercial outcomes.

- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build influence across teams and stakeholders.

1. Qualifications and desirable experience

- Relevant qualification in VET, adult education, quality, compliance, auditing, business, WHS, environmental management or a related discipline.

- Recognised training and assessment credential appropriate to RTO operations, with evidence of currency.

- TAE40122, TAE40116, TAE40110 or equivalent/successor credential will be highly regarded.

- Experience with aXcelerate or similar student management systems is desirable.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 is desirable.
