Duty manager
Job description
Reporting to the general manager, a duty manager will take on the smooth running and operation of the entire venue, including food and beverage, accommodation and gaming. You will work with the team bringing a positive can-do attitude.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bar & alcohol service experience
· Hold a full NT RSA & RSG
· Have a current NT gaming machine managers licence (or be willing to obtain)
· Previous cash handling experience
· Available to work across all shifts: days, nights, weekends & public holidays
· Have at minimum of one year experience in a similar role
· Have confidence running a team and have a passion for customer service
· Have strong communication & leadership skills
· Proven reliability and good time keeping
· Basic food handler course NT - now required for all hospitality employees
Your responsibilities will include:
· Leading the team & managing staff
· Training, development & supporting staff
· Exceptional customer service and complaint resolution
· All bar operations
· Changing kegs, replenishing stock
· Gaming, Keno & TAB operations
· Following compliance for licencing, training and ensuring all legislation is adhered too.
· Cash handling
· Opening and closing of venue
· Maintaining service standards
· Ensuring the venue runs smoothly & efficiently
· Accommodation bookings
· Liaising with the housekeeping team

Chef
Humpty Doo Hotel is looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our busy kitchen.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced chef who takes pride in quality, consistency and kitchen operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a high volume of food to a consistently high standard
- Ensuring dishes are presented consistently and efficiently
- Managing daily prep and kitchen operations
- Developing and contributing to specials and menu ideas
- Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Working closely with management and front-of-house to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining high standards across the kitchen at all times
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant culinary qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of contemporary food safety practices and kitchen hygiene including a supervisors food handler certificate
- Experience cooking during a busy service and peak periods with high-volume trade
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain consistency and quality under pressure
- A strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to lead by example
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
