Bostech Drilling Australia

Bellevue

Company Overview:
Bostech Drilling is a proudly Australian exploration drilling company with over 25 years of industry experience. We’re a small, close-knit team that enjoys what we do, drilling holes across Australia.

Our field crews are at the heart of our operations, and our office team works behind the scenes to make their jobs run as smoothly as possible.

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to join our team and become an important part of the day-to-day operations of the business.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented person who enjoys variety and wants to become a valued member of our team.

As a small, close-knit business, the people we work with are important to us. We would love to find someone who is looking for more than just their next job, someone who wants to find a workplace where they feel at home, enjoy the people around them and can see themselves staying for the long term.

This role plays an important part in supporting our drilling crews working across Australia. The work you do in the office directly impacts the people in the field, from making sure their mobilisation and site requirements are completed correctly and on time, to organising their travel and ensuring they have what they need to get to site with as little unnecessary stress as possible.

The pace of the role can vary. At times, mobilisation requirements can make things extremely busy, with multiple priorities and deadlines to manage. At other times, things can be quieter while waiting for information or paperwork to come through. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with both, someone who can stay calm and organised when things get busy, while using their initiative and staying productive during the quieter periods.

You’ll be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your responsibilities, while also enjoying the support and camaraderie that comes with being part of a small team.

We are offering a full-time position, with flexibility available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate mobilisation, including onboarding and mobilisation of new starters and existing personnel.

- Coordinate site entry requirements, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes.

- Arrange flights, accommodation and vehicle hire for personnel travelling to site.

- Maintain accurate mobilisation, personnel and compliance records.

- Monitor site and company compliance requirements and ensure relevant documentation remains current.

- Play a key role in the implementation of MEX and Stems, helping to establish practical processes, maintain accurate system data and support ongoing improvements.

- Answer all incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate person.

- Collate timesheets and assist with their timely submission for payroll processing.

- Maintain various company registers.

- Provide general administrative support across the business and assist with day-to-day operations as required.

Selection Criteria:

- Previous mobilisation experience would be highly regarded.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, with MYOB experience an advantage.

- A proactive and organised approach,

with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with employees, clients and other external stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing compliance requirements and personnel records.

- Mining or drilling industry knowledge would be advantageous; however, a willingness to learn and become part of the team is equally important.

- A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to assist across different areas of the business when required.

Benefits of Working with Bostech:

- A friendly, supportive and close-knit team setting.

- A varied role where you can genuinely contribute to the day-to-day running of the business.

- Friday team lunches followed by an early finish to kick off the weekend.

- Bellevue location with easy access to public transport and nearby amenities.

- Onsite parking.

- The opportunity to find your place within an established exploration drilling company and become a valued, long-term member of our team.

As a smaller business, our team works together and helps each other when needed. While your primary responsibilities will centre around mobilisation and administration, we are looking for someone who is happy to pitch in and assist with the broader day-to-day operations of the business.
