We are seeking a full time Engineering Surveyor based in our Forrestdale office. The position includes a fully equipped company vehicle and the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects. Our work includes major road infrastructure, residential subdivisions, bridges and dams, commercial and industrial developments, and building construction projects. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your skills in machine control, laser scanning and drone mapping while working alongside an experienced team of Licensed and Engineering Surveyors.
Key responsibilities
- Perform engineering surveying work in an accurate and efficient manner
- Perform tasks such as civil earth works, set-out and as-built, volume surveys, steel and concrete set-out, design checking, modelling and data conversion, servicing and drainage surveys, control installation and adjustment
- Record data/information in appropriate format for company files and records
- Interpret client needs and communicate with clients as needed
- Utilise resources (e.g. equipment and labour) in an efficient and appropriate manner
- Work effectively with team members to achieve required outcomes (e.g. contractors, subcontractors, our team)
- When required, coordinate a survey field team to complete survey work
- Maintain productivity levels of at least 90% as per the individual KPI for this position
About you
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Surveying (or equivalent)
- At least five (5) experience in engineering surveying (in Australia)
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and working collaboratively within a team
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Hold a Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- Good people skills with ability to relate to clients as well work effectively with other team members
