Are you an experienced clinician with strong assessment skills and a passion for helping people access the right support at the right time?
Centacare South West NSW is seeking a Senior Clinical and Access Coordinator to lead and oversee our initial client access process. This pivotal role supports clients from their first point of contact through engagement, screening, triage, eligibility assessment, referral and brief intervention.
As a senior clinician, you will ensure clients are allocated to the most appropriate service or program in a timely, equitable and clinically informed way. You will assess individual needs and therapeutic goals, provide psychoeducation, and identify and respond appropriately to complex risks..

Some things we look out for are:
- An experienced clinician with at least five years experience in mental health or a related field, including intake, assessment and triage.
- Strong clinical judgement and the ability to assess client needs, eligibility, urgency and suitability for services.
- Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate safety and response plans.
- Excellent relationship-building & communication skills.
- Strong organisation, time management and record-keeping skills..
- A collaborative and compassionate clinician committed to trauma-informed, person-centred and culturally responsive practice.
Essential Qualifications & Checks:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in health, behavioural or social science, community services, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in mental health or related field,
including intake/access/triage responsibilities
- Current Working with Children Check & National Police Check.
