About the Role

This permanent position is suited to Behaviour Support Practitioners who are early in their career or looking to continue developing their skills within a supportive clinical environment.

You will work with a diverse caseload across Adelaide,



with support aligned to your experience and current capability. Your week will include a combination of participant appointments, assessments, behaviour support planning, stakeholder collaboration, training and clinical supervision.

You will have the flexibility to work across home, our office and community settings while remaining connected to an experienced and collaborative team.

Whether you have recently been considered suitable as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner or want to strengthen your existing practice, this role offers hands-on experience, regular supervision and access to professional development.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

- Build trusted relationships with participants and the people around them

- Undertake Behaviour Support Assessments, including Functional Behaviour Assessments

- Develop, implement and review interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans

- Create practical, person-centred strategies that can be understood and implemented in everyday settings

- Work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers, implementing providers and other stakeholders

- Deliver training, coaching and guidance to the people responsible for implementing Behaviour Support Plans

- Monitor participant outcomes and adjust strategies based on evidence, feedback and changing needs

- Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices where applicable

- Maintain accurate documentation in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements

- Participate in individual supervision, team discussions and reflective practice

- Contribute to a culture of clinical quality, shared learning and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who brings curiosity, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to person-centred practice.

You will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, behaviour analysis,



social work, occupational therapy, developmental education or another relevant discipline

- Current suitability as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner, including at new entry, Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist level

- A person-centred and strengths-based approach

- An understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and contemporary evidence-based practice

- Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills

- The ability to build constructive relationships with participants, families and support teams

- A willingness to reflect, receive guidance and continue developing your practice

- The ability to manage your time and responsibilities while working across different settings

What You’ll Need

Before commencing in the role, you will need:

- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check

- A current Working with Children Check

- A valid Australian driver’s licence

- Access to a reliable vehicle

- The right to work in Australia
