About the role

Power Kinnect is seeking Electricians willing to be trained to become a Cable Jointer and / or qualified Cable Jointers for work predominantly around Port Macquarie, Forster and Taree. The successful candidate/s will be based out of our Wauchope depot.

Key responsibilities

- Installation and jointing of paper lead and/or XLPE cables up to 11kV

- Installation and commissioning of URD

- Trenching and cabling

- Work in a rapid paced and changing workplace

- Work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the position

- Be prepared to work away when required

About you

- NSW Electrical Licence

- Cert III in ESI - Distribution or Cert III Cable Jointer

- Experience working within a similar environment eg. Essential Energy, Ausgrid

- Possess a high level knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to OH&S; principles and practices

- Sound oral, written communication and numeracy skills

- Sound computer literacy skills

- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

- MR licence would be an advantage





- Excavator ticket or experience would be an advantage
