The Role
Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, you will lead the geology technician team across Mt Magnet's coreyard, open pit and underground operations.

You will coordinate daily priorities, maintain sampling and data standards, and help minimise ore loss and dilution. This role combines technical oversight with people leadership and operational responsibility.

Your day to day will include:





- Planning daily activities and allocating technicians across operational priorities
- Supervising core processing, sampling, photography and sample dispatch
- Coordinating drilling contractors and maintaining core and sampling quality
- Overseeing open pit ore spotting, ore mark-outs and underground sampling activities
- Coaching technicians and improving safety, work quality and geology processes

About You
We're looking for someone who brings:

- At least six years of geology technician experience within mining operations
- At least two years of team leadership or supervisory experience
- Practical experience across core processing, sampling, grade control and drilling support
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with Imago or Pronto experience viewed favorably
- A current S26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
- A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance
