About the role

Field Technician role installing, commissioning and maintaining pump and dewatering systems across WA, including submersible bore pump installations for groundwater and dewatering applications. Based primarily across the Pilbara and Perth, with FIFO or drive up site rotations in a team of 2 to 5. Workshop is in Bibra Lake.

We're hiring at both junior and senior levels. No two weeks are the same, and that's exactly the point.

Key responsibilities

- Installing, commissioning and servicing pump systems on remote and regional sites across WA

- Installing submersible bore pumps, for groundwater and dewatering bores

- Installing, operating and maintaining dewatering systems including HDPE pipelines, diesel pumps, generators and submersible bore pumps

- Working with diesel and electric pump systems for mine dewatering, water treatment and agricultural applications

- Performing poly welding tasks to repair and fabricate components

- Coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and secure delivery

- Completing job documentation and reports

- Maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship in all environments

- Senior candidates take on site leadership, mentoring junior team members, and driving technical problem solving on complex jobs

About you – Junior Technician

You might be early in your trades career, recently finished an apprenticeship, or come from a mechanical background and are keen to get into the field. You don't need to know everything. You need to be switched on, safety conscious, and ready to learn.





- Mechanical aptitude or trade background (fitting, plumbing, diesel, or similar)

- WA C Class Driver's Licence

- White Card (or willing to obtain)

- Ability to work away regularly

- Eagerness to develop your skills in a hands on environment

About you – Senior Technician

You've been around pumps, dewatering systems, or similar mechanical plant, and you're comfortable leading a job from start to finish.

- Proven experience installing and maintaining pumps, submersible bore pumps highly regarded

- Proven experience with dewatering or equivalent mechanical systems

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence

- HR Licence desirable

- Poly Welding Ticket desirable

- Additional tickets (Telehandler, Dogman, Crane) highly regarded

- National Police Clearance desirable

- Comfortable taking ownership of site safety and job quality
