East Preston Islamic College is seeking a reliable and organised Chief Supervisor / Emergency Chief Supervisor for the 2026 VCE written examinations, held 27 October – 18 November 2026. Attendance at compulsory VCAA training in October 2026 is required.
Responsibilities
- Administer examinations according to VCAA requirements
- Maintain the security of examination materials
- Confirm attendance and deliver examination instructions
- Manage incidents and examination-rule breaches
- Collect, check and securely return examination materials
- Complete all required records and forms
- Act as Chief Supervisor at short notice when required
Requirements
Applicants must:
- hold a current Employee Working with Children Check or valid exemption
- attend compulsory training in October
- be available during the examination period
- be punctual,
organised and able to follow detailed procedures
- maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure
- meet all VCAA eligibility and conflict-of-interest conditions
- have no prohibited relationship with relevant VCE students or staff
- complete the required VCAA statutory declaration and appointment documents
Previous examination-supervision or leadership experience is desirable but not required.
