About the role

Own new business across Perth metro, with Pilbara / FIFO opportunities as they arise. This is a hunter role focused on converting relationships into booked work and a repeatable pipeline. You will represent Lux Traffic in front of civil contractors, utilities, local government, and infrastructure clients.

Key responsibilities

- Build and convert a qualified pipeline of civil contractors, utilities, Main Roads / local government, and project contacts

- Win TMP / TGS planning work and on-site traffic control packages, including short-notice and night works

- Prepare quotes, proposals and commercial submissions; negotiate rates, terms and scope with support from operations

- Reactivate dormant accounts and deepen existing key-client relationships

- Represent Lux Traffic at site meetings, industry events and client briefings

- Feed accurate forecasts into operations so crews, fleet and planners can be scheduled without last-minute chaos

- Position ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 systems, safety record and fast-approval capability as a commercial advantage

About you

- Proven B2B business development or account-winning track record in traffic management, civil construction, utilities, hire, or infrastructure services

- An existing WA network across contractors, project contacts, councils or utilities is highly regarded





- Comfortable with outbound prospecting — calls, site visits, and following up until the job is booked

- Commercially sharp: understand pricing, margins, awards/labour cost pressure, and why a cheap quote that cannot be delivered is a problem

- Credible with senior site and commercial stakeholders; professional, direct, and reliable

- Valid WA C-class licence and a clean driving history

- Willing to be on the road most days

- Right to work in Australia
