Astute Financial Management is a leading financial services company based at Toowong in QLD. We support over 700 finance brokers and financial planners throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We require a person with demonstrated experience in commission payments or payroll in a full-time capacity. We are seeking an energetic person who has an aptitude for numbers and administration.

This busy position is both challenging and rewarding and will suit a self-motivated individual willing to learn and contribute to our team culture. Extensive on the job training will be provided. The role is in-office during business hours Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will grow over time to include:

- Accurate processing of daily commission payments for our members

- Maintaining accurate records of commission payments

- Communicate with Brokers regarding commission enquiries in a timely manner

- Follow through on instructions given in relation to daily tasks

- Report systematically and promptly to all management staff as required

- Overflow administration support and other duties and tasks as requested





To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

- Experience in a Commissions Payments or Payroll environment

- Hands-on skill with PC computer applications including all Microsoft Office programs and Internet (specifically Outlook & Excel)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Very high attention to detail

- Robust organisational and time management skills

- Demonstrated experience using multiple IT Platforms

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to work to deadlines

- Able to work as part of a team, but also autonomously
