Our Client
Our client is a large, established Not-for-Profit organisation with a strong reputation and a sizeable, experienced payroll function.
With a major payroll project currently underway, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team for approximately 3.5 months and provide additional support across business-as-usual payroll activities.
You'll be joining a genuinely supportive team environment, working under an excellent manager and benefiting from strong flexibility with only 2 days per week required in the office.
The Role
Working as part of a large payroll team, you'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll activities and help ensure employees continue to be paid accurately and on time while the broader team works through a key payroll project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing end-to-end payroll across a large employee population
- Managing payroll changes, adjustments and employee data
- Processing new starters, terminations and employee variations
- Reviewing timesheets, leave and payroll information
- Calculating and processing allowances, deductions and other payments
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
- Completing payroll reconciliations and checking payroll accuracy
- Supporting month-end and payroll reporting requirements
- Assisting the broader payroll team with BAU activities as required

The Successful Candidate We're looking for someone who can step into a busy payroll environment and become productive quickly.
You will ideally have:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience
- Experience working within a large or complex payroll setting
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and controls
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence dealing with payroll queries and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively as part of a larger payroll team
- Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Availability to commence immediately & commit to a 3.5 month assignment
