About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced, qualified and dynamic A Grade Electrician with an electro-mechanical background to join our hard-working team based at Melbourne Airport, Victoria. The role consists of five days per week Monday to Friday rotating early and late shifts, where you will be maintaining Aerobridges, Nose In Guidance Systems, Power Generator Systems (solid state), Preconditioned Air Systems as well as all areas of repairs, modification, commissioning, maintenance and test/tag functions in a dynamic working environment. Work areas will vary from our airside office to our head office in Broadmeadows to Melbourne Airport and other locations nationally as required. You will report directly to our Service Manager based at Melbourne Airport, Victoria, and work across a range of customer's and applications on site and at our workshop to deliver exceptional customer service on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain company standards through safe work practices and presentation

- Service, maintain and repair customer systems, including fabrication and installation of cable assemblies, switchboards and components

- Attend call outs as and where required

- Assist with new installations and commissioning of a variety of airport equipment

- Site testing, commissioning, fault finding

About you

- Must reside in and be an Australian citizen

- Qualified and licensed A Grade Electrician in Victoria with a minimum of 5 years' experience

- Up to date and current Driver's Licence is mandatory

- Up to date forklift and EWP licence preferred





- Clear understanding and background in automation, power generation and air conditioning

- Experience in an airport environment is a strong advantage

- Demonstrate a highly disciplined level of professionalism, ethics and accuracy

- Excellent documentation skills

- Clear written and verbal communication skills and fluent with Microsoft Windows and Office suite

- Willing to undergo police background and criminal record checks with no criminal history and willing to undergo random drug and alcohol testing
