UKG Dimensions (Kronos) Functional Consultant

Speller International is partnering with a leading Australian organisation seeking an experienced UKG Dimensions (Kronos) Functional Consultant to play a critical role in the ongoing optimisation and enhancement of a complex workforce management environment.

This is an opportunity to join a business undertaking significant workforce management transformation initiatives, where your expertise in UKG Dimensions, pay rule configuration, award interpretation, and workforce compliance will directly influence system effectiveness and employee outcomes.

The Opportunity

As the UKG Functional Consultant, you will take ownership of the day-to-day configuration, administration, support, and continuous improvement of the UKG Dimensions platform. You will work closely with Payroll, HR, Industrial Relations, and Operations stakeholders to ensure complex award and enterprise agreement requirements are accurately translated into system configuration.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and maintain UKG Dimensions pay rules, work rules, pay code distributions, accruals, scheduling rules, and exception handling
- Translate Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards into compliant system logic
- Lead BOOT (Better Off Overall Test) implementation and configuration activities
- Build and execute testing, parallel runs, and validation scenarios
- Troubleshoot complex payroll and workforce management issues
- Partner with Payroll, HR,



and Operations teams to resolve configuration and calculation issues
- Produce solution design documentation, SOPs, and technical configuration documentation
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on system functionality and pay rule logic
- Support ongoing workforce management optimisation initiatives

About You

- 7-10+ years' experience supporting or configuring UKG Dimensions / Kronos
- Strong experience with pay rules, work rules, accrual profiles, and scheduling configuration
- Deep understanding of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, overtime, penalties, and allowances
- Exposure to payroll validation and workforce compliance processes
- Solid stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
