About the role

Street Side Medics is seeking a dedicated qualified to support service delivery in NSW. This is a hands-on, community-based role reporting to the Operations Manager. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of NSW clinics and further expansion throughout the State.

Key responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day operations of NSW clinics, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of the service while supporting clinic team leaders.
- Maintain relationships with community partners by attending coordination meetings, ensuring regular communication, and assisting the Operations Manager in rolling out new clinic locations.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on clinic activities and attendance to inform internal reports as well as collating relevant data for grant reporting.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing support of volunteers and staff, fostering a collaborative and well-equipped team.
- Maintain stock levels and van maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies related to the van, consumables and equipment audits.
- Provide non-clinical support to patients, including follow up activities, and ensure clinics meet community needs through regular on-site attendance and engagement.
- Maintain a comprehensive and accessible database of resources and referral services for clinic patients.

- Compassionate and enthusiastic individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure that all aspects of the clinic operations are underpinned by quality safety and care.
- Strong communication skills,



with the ability to foster meaningful connections with community partners as well as collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance service impact.
- Adaptable, resourceful and comfortable to seamlessly interact with dedicated volunteers, ensuring they are equipped and motivated to support the cause effectively.
- Understanding that Street Side Medics is in a growth phase and motivated to be part of embedding and/or establishing policies, procedures, and the culture of the organisation.

Street Side Medics is a not-for-profit, GP-led mobile medical service for people experiencing homelessness. Our vision is to ensure that all vulnerable individuals requiring healthcare can access it effortlessly, with dignity and respect.

At Street Side Medics we make long term commitments to the communities in which we work. By teaming up with local community partners, and delivering our clinics from the same place, at the same time, on the same day, each week, we're able to build lasting relationships and ensure continuity of care.

We currently have 16 clinics across NSW, VIC and ACT with plans to continue expanding our reach across Australia. Every Street Side Medics clinic is staffed by dedicated volunteers who work from a well-equipped mobile medical van, providing a primary health care service to the standard of a traditional general practice.
