What you'll do:
- Assist clients with medications in line with care plans and your scope of practice
- Complete medication documentation accurately
- Observe clients and report any changes in their condition, wellbeing, or response to medication
- Deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and choice
- Support clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Follow infection control procedures and safe medication practices
- Work as part of a team to provide safe, high-quality care
- Maintain a safe workplace and follow WHS requirements.
To apply you must have:
- Australian work rights
- HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication
- 6 months experience as medication competent Carer
- Certificate III in Aged Care
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid certificate
- Excellent communication skills
