We’re seeking an experienced and customer-focused Counter Sales professional to join a well-established electrical wholesale business in Deniliquin, NSW.

This is a great opportunity for someone with electrical industry experience who enjoys building relationships with tradies, providing great customer service, and being part of a busy, close-knit branch environment

About the Role

Working as part of a close-knit branch team, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers, assisting electrical contractors and trade customers with their day-to-day product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

● Serve customers at the trade counter and provide a high level of customer service

● Process sales, quotes, and customer orders

● Provide product advice and recommend suitable electrical products

● Handle incoming phone and email enquiries

● Check stock availability and assist with product sourcing

● Build strong relationships with electrical contractors and regular trade customers

● Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding orders and deliveries

● Assist with general branch and warehouse duties when required





● Identify opportunities to increase sales and grow existing customer accounts

Skills and Experience

● Previous experience within electrical wholesale, electrical supply, or a similar trade environment

● Strong knowledge of electrical products and terminology

● Experience in counter sales, internal sales, or customer service

● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

● A proactive, positive, and team-focused attitude

● Confidence using computer-based ordering, quoting, and inventory systems
