✨ About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join STA as our Clinical Lead, providing clinical leadership and oversight to approximately 10 Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Psychologists.

You’ll provide supervision and mentoring, support complex clinical decision-making, strengthen clinical standards and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You’ll be supported by our General Manager and Practice Manager, allowing you to focus on clinical leadership rather than carrying sole responsibility for practice operations.

The role can be full-time or part-time and includes dedicated leadership time alongside a manageable OT caseload.

? What You’ll Do

- Lead and support approximately 10 clinicians across OT, Speech Pathology and Psychology

- Provide regular clinical supervision and mentoring

- Support complex presentations, clinical decision-making, risk assessment and care planning

- Lead clinical case discussions, reviews and team-oriented care planning

- Promote high-quality, evidence-informed and neuro-affirming practice

- Support clinical governance, quality improvement and safe service delivery

- Identify professional development needs and support ongoing clinical learning

- Build robust relationships with schools, medical and allied health professionals,



community organisations and referral partners

- Strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration and referral pathways

- Contribute to the ongoing development of STA’s clinical services

- Maintain a manageable occupational therapy caseload

? About You

This is a senior clinical position and proven experience supervising and mentoring clinicians is essential.

You will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

- Several years of relevant clinical experience, ideally with children and young people

- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision and mentoring

- Strong clinical reasoning and confidence supporting complex presentations

- Experience providing clinical leadership within a team

- Confidence working across a multidisciplinary environment

- Strong understanding of evidence-informed and neuro-affirming practice

- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills

Previous Clinical Lead, Senior OT or multidisciplinary leadership experience will be highly regarded.
