Cathara Consulting is seeking a commercially focused Financial Analyst to provide strong forecasting, reporting and financial analysis with a strong focus on revenue modelling and calculations.

This is position is based on site in the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Forecasting demand, analysing markets and modelling revenue.
- Managing monthly revenue calculations, billing, invoicing, reconciliations and accruals.
- Preparing revenue, energy, pricing and volume analysis for reporting, including to the Board.
- Assessing the commercial viability of major capital works, business development proposals and private sector opportunities.
- Providing economic advice on costs, pricing, demand and market conditions.
- Recommending risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Supporting commercial outcomes required under Government Owned Corporations legislation and the Statement of Corporate Intent.

About You

- Degree qualified in Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar
- Solid commercial analysis skills, including investment analysis, forecasting, financial modelling, trends analysis, and cost/management accounting.




- Skills in policy development, quality management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Strong IT skills across word processing, spreadsheets, project management tools, and relevant business systems, experience with Pronto highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with senior management and financial/operational teams.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to manage priorities and contribute to a supportive and positive team.
