We are currently seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Welding Inspector / QA/QC to support a major project during a critical preparation phase for upcoming shutdown activities. This FIFO based role will be embedded within the project delivery team and will play a key role in ensuring Hot Work quality readiness, documentation assurance and inspection planning ahead of site execution. This is a short term project with the opportunity to extend to ongoing future works.

Key Responsibilities
Provide quality assurance leadership across Hot Work scopes
Develop, review and assure Job Packs, ITPs,



WPS documentation and weld traceability
Support inspection planning, scheduling and quality reporting
Monitor compliance against project standards and execution requirements
Identify and manage quality risks impacting delivery outcomes
Provide technical guidance to project and execution stakeholders

About You
Proven experience in Welding Inspection / QAQC roles within Oil & Gas or major energy projects
Solid background supporting shutdown or commissioning preparation phases
CSWIP/Equivalent certification is essential
Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor highly regarded
Strong understanding of industry codes, standards and quality systems
Advanced capability in reporting and data analysis tools (Excel / Power BI)
Qualified communication skills with the ability to engage across project teams
