Civil Construction Supervisor | Laidley & Ipswich Region

$43.97 per hour + Penalties + Allowances
20-Week Project | Potential for Extension

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join a project team delivering the construction of a new helipad at a local hospital in the Laidley and Ipswich region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong civil construction background to oversee crews, maintain high safety standards, and contribute to a significant infrastructure project within the local community.

About the Role

As the Civil Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading daily site operations, coordinating work crews, and ensuring project milestones are achieved safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role is offered on an initial 20-week project, with the potential for ongoing work based on project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities
Lead pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements
Monitor productivity, work quality, and project timelines
Support, mentor, and develop site personnel
Coordinate subcontractors and site resources
Liaise with project managers,



contractors, and stakeholders
Maintain accurate site records and reporting

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
White Card (essential)
Proven experience in a Civil Construction Supervisor role
Experience with reinforced concrete slab construction
Working at Heights certification
Traffic Control qualifications (Blue and/or Yellow Card)
Confined Spaces certification (highly regarded)
Strong understanding of WHS legislation and industry best practice
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage crews and deliver projects safely and efficiently
