Weekend Workshop Assistant
This is a temporary, part time role to explicit a backlog of surplus workshop items. It would suit a student (Yr 11 or 12, or Uni), male or female, looking for a little extra cash for straightforward work. The task is to sort surplus items and prepare them for sale. You need to have some affinity with technical equipment as well as being punctual and organised.
Location: Bald Hills, Brisbane
Pay: Hourly rate, EFT paid weekly
Hours: 5 Hours (8:00am to 1:00pm) every Saturday from now to Christmas (2026). This can be changed to suit the person.
Tasks Include:
Sorting and cleaning items (pro audio, camera/video gear, camping equipment, workshop tools, books, and automatic watches).
Taking clear photos and drafting accurate, engaging online marketplace ads (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree).
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 per week
