We are seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher/Tutor to teach high-achieving students across our VCE, JMSS and Scholarship Programs.

This role is ideal for:
University students studying Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science or related fields
Graduates or experienced teachers seeking casual teaching work
Experienced tutors with a strong background in secondary Mathematics

Working Hours

Saturday: 9:30am – 5:00pm

Applicants must be available for the full Saturday teaching schedule.

About the Role

You will teach Mathematics across our:
JMSS Preparation Program – Mathematics and Numerical Reasoning
VCE Mathematics Program – senior secondary Mathematics
Scholarship Preparation Program – advanced Mathematics and scholarship preparation

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and structured Mathematics lessons.




Explain mathematical concepts clearly and develop students' problem-solving skills.
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom workplace.
Build positive relationships with students and encourage academic excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Robust Mathematics knowledge and excellent problem-solving ability.
Ability to teach Mathematics from upper primary through to senior secondary level.
Robust communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and effectively.
Experience in tutoring or teaching school-aged students is highly desirable.
Experience with selective school, scholarship, JMSS or VCE preparation is an advantage.
Excellent reliability and punctuality.
Availability every Saturday from 9:30am to 5:00pm.
