The Company is seeking a Senior Financial Officer to join their finance team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the management and oversight of the finance function, contributing to the delivery of high-quality finance and accounting services that align with the organization's goals. This includes leading the financial reporting, procurement, and internal control programs, as well as ensuring the timely completion of monthly actuals and balance sheet reconciliations. The role also involves providing essential analysis, supporting the organization with financial planning, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders on complex matters. Applicants must be CPA or CA qualified, with a solid background in both financial and management accounting.



Demonstrated experience in the preparation of financial statements and a solid understanding of the Commonwealth financial framework are essential. The role requires effective people management, strategic thinking, and the ability to work under pressure to achieve results. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, MYOB Acumatica, or TechOne is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and soft skills, including productive stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and the ability to influence outcomes. A Baseline Clearance is also required for this position.
