CASUAL WAITER / WAITRESS — LINA ROOFTOP

Lina Rooftop is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Casual Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team in South Brisbane.

You’ll help deliver a welcoming and qualified dining experience while working in a busy, fast-paced rooftop venue.

Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive table service
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS
Having a strong understanding of our menus, specials and beverage offerings
Communicating dietary requirements and allergies clearly with the kitchen and management
Serving food and drinks promptly and professionally
Managing your section and communicating closely with the kitchen, bar and floor team
Checking on guests and responding to requests throughout their visit
Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining a clean,



organised service area
Processing payments accurately
Assisting with functions, group bookings and venue setup
Following RSA requirements and venue service standards
Completing opening and closing duties

We’re looking for someone with:
Previous experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality venue
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Confidence managing a section during busy service
Valuable attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest service
A valid Queensland RSA
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Pay: $26.44 – $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
