We are seeking a reliable and skilled Night Baker to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and baking fresh products overnight so that our bakery is fully stocked with high-quality goods ready for the morning service.

The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing consistent, high-quality baked goods while working independently in a night-shift environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules
Mix, shape, proof, and bake products to ensure consistent quality and presentation
Prepare doughs and batters for the following day’s service
Monitor ovens, proofers, and baking equipment to ensure correct baking times and temperatures
Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with food safety standards
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
Manage overnight production to ensure the bakery is fully stocked for morning service




Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory monitoring
Ensure all products meet quality and consistency standards

Requirements
Previous baking or pastry experience preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts independently
Solid attention to detail and consistency
Ability to follow recipes and production systems accurately
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Solid time management and organisational skills
Physically capable of lifting bags of flour and standing for extended periods

Schedule
Overnight shifts (typically starting late evening and finishing early morning)
Weekend availability may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
