About the Position:

As a Painter at Blue Way Pty Limited, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying high-quality paint finishes to interior and exterior surfaces across residential and commercial properties. This full time role covers both recent construction and renovation projects, ensuring finishes meet client expectations and comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes/cracks, sanding, and cleaning
Apply primers, sealers, undercoats, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment




Mix and match paint colours according to job specifications
Protect surrounding areas using drop sheets, masking tape, and other protective measures
Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment, including scaffolding and ladders
Maintain a clean, safe job site and follow WHS practices
Report to the site supervisor and coordinate with the team

Requirements:
AQF Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of on-the-job experience in painting or decorating
Sound knowledge of surface preparation, paint types and application techniques
Ability to work at heights and use access equipment safely
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Driver's licence (preferred)

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
